About Me
I am Yimeng (“Yvonne”) Wang, a third year Ph.D student in Computer Science at William & Mary, advised by Prof. Yixuan Zhang. My research interests lie in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Human-AI Interaction. I study how people make sense of and build trust with AI systems across different contexts, and I design and evaluate LLM-enabled tools for sensitive domains such as mental health support and education. I regularly publish in premier HCI and AI venues including ACM CHI, ACL, L@S, and Interactive Health. My research has received press coverage from William & Mary News and WHRO Public Media. I am currently serving as a Poster Track Associate Chair for CHI 2026 and review for CHI, CSCW, UIST, JMIR and ACM HEALTH. If you are interested in any aspect of my work, I would love to chat and collaborate.
